Before “clocking out” tonight, I wanted to fit in one last blog post. And it’s a good one, ya’ll! We shot Anna and Ben’s engagement session last month around some of our favorite places in Washington. It was our first time meeting this adorable couple in person, and I can already tell you that their wedding day is going to be one of our favorites of 2022.

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Tonight I’m excited to share some familiar faces with you. We first met Carly and her mom back in January 2020. They got our information at a wedding show and a few weeks later we sat down at a Starbucks to chat about wedding details. The conversation quickly crossed over to life, traveling, and cruises.

Fellow photographers, get yourself clients like Amber! Ya’ll, seriously. Amber was THE BEST bride! She was so thorough in her planning, but had full trust in us to do our thing. She’s insanely gorgeous, whip smart, and funny. She’s all-around likable. She also comes with an amazing, supportive family. In our book, we simply could not ask for anything better.

Happy Tuesday! Tonight I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images from Saturday’s wedding. We celebrated one of our favorite couples of the year, Janell and Daniel. Many of you guys know that Will and I both grew up in Martin County. We’re blessed to have so many Martin County brides this year (and even more next year!).

Happy, Monday! Over the weekend, Will and I shot weddings number 49, 50, and 51 of the year. The last month has definitely been the busiest stretch of our career. But ya’ll, our hearts are fuller than ever. I feel like a broken record, but we literally feel like the luckiest people on earth to capture our couples’ best day ever.

From the day we booked Kim and Jamie’s wedding, we knew it was going to be a good one! We have loved working with this adorable pair every step of the way. They are so incredibly fun and from the beginning, we knew they were going to celebrate big. We love that they chose to have the ceremony in Kim’s church.

Ya’ll, November has arrived. We’ve got 7 weddings this month, but we started off our month with a bang! On Friday, we celebrated Lydia and Derek in Knightdale. From the first time Lydia called us to chat about the details of the day, we could tell how excited she was for the ceremony.

Kim is the type of person that being around is easy. She is full of joy. Full of gratitude. Full of personality. She’s loving. Beautiful. Personable. Photogenic. Down to Earth. She smiles and laughs in a way that makes you feel good. She loves on everyone around her. And returning the love is easy. If I could bottle up all of the good things about Kim and save them for a rainy day, I would.
