Amber + Ian - First Baptist Church of Henderson & Henderson Country Club Wedding Preview

Happy, Monday! Over the weekend, Will and I shot weddings number 49, 50, and 51 of the year. The last month has definitely been the busiest stretch of our career. But ya’ll, our hearts are fuller than ever. I feel like a broken record, but we literally feel like the luckiest people on earth to capture our couples’ best day ever.

Today, I’m so excited to share with the world some of our favorite shots from Friday, when we celebrated Amber and Ian. When we think of why we love our job, we think of couples like Amber and Ian. From day one, they have been the epitome of perfect clients. When we shot their engagement session on a ridiculously windy day, they didn’t bat an eye. They found beauty in the wind-blown look. When they decided to cut their guest list in an effort to remain as covid safe as possible, they saw the joy in celebrating with their nearest and dearest. When the timeline got slightly behind on Friday, Amber took a deep breath and followed our lead on tucking her away in the church’s semi-private courtyard for the remainder of the pre-ceremony photos. They do all of these things with smiles on their faces, enjoying their time together. Because at the end of the day, it’s so easy to see that Amber and Ian’s love for each other and their family is what matters the most.

I’ll always have fond memories of Friday’s celebration. From the ceremony in the church that Amber’s dad leads, to the festive reception at the local country club, the entire event was full of love and joy. We love that Amber and Ian chose to have a first look so that we could capture plenty of photos with good daylight and they could enjoy as much of the reception as possible. Before sharing out favorite shots, I’d be remised if I didn’t give Amber a huge shout out for all of her planning skills. So much time, effort, and love went into these wedding plans and the day was PERFECT!
