Happy Tuesday, everyone! Tonight I’m excited to share some familiar faces with you. We first met Carly and her mom back in January 2020. They got our information at a wedding show and a few weeks later we sat down at a Starbucks to chat about wedding details. The conversation quickly crossed over to life, traveling, and cruises. Will and I felt an instant connection and were thrilled when Carly and Zach officially booked us. Little did we know the ride the pandemic would take us on together (but in the best of ways during a tough time). We first captured Carly and Zach say “I Do” last November at a small, intimate ceremony on the most gorgeous fall day. We loved the joy their family shared and that Carly and Zach moved forward with traditional aspects of the day - first dance, parent dances, cake-cutting, etc. Shortly after, Carly’s brother, Nathan, booked us to shoot his October 2021 wedding and we literally shrieked with excitement when the e-mail came through, knowing their family was so dang likable and fun. The icing on the cake? Getting to capture Carly and Zach’s anniversary celebration this past Saturday!

Everything about Saturday was just as perfect as Carly and Zach’s wedding day. Although a bit cooler, we had abundant sunshine. Carly debuted a brand new dress (so different from the first, but so stunning and unique) at her first look with Zach, We had plenty of time for portraits. Guests were treated to watching the 2020 ceremony film before introductions and a lively reception. Seriously, the entire day was PERFECTION!
