Ya’ll, our first wedding of September has come and gone. And, man, was it one for the books. Gabi and Jacob celebrated with such a beautiful wedding day. It was our first wedding in the Burlington area. Although the church had some fairly strict rules to keep distractions down during the ceremony, we are simply in awe of the shots we captured. The space in front of the church was simply breathtaking and we loved that Gabi and Jacob trusted us to capture their first look and many of their portraits there as well.

Friends, how has it already been almost three months since Savannah and Caleb’s wedding? Ya’ll, we love every wedding we shoot, but some just give us more “feel goods” than others. And Savannah and Caleb bring the feel goods to everything they do! We adore them and their amazing family and friends. Seriously, it’s always such a good time with these two. We hope you’ll enjoy some of the highlights of their wedding day in their wedding film.

Ya’ll, it feels like just yesterday we were in Wilmington celebrating with Logan and Will. We first met this pair over a year ago at Will’s sister’s wedding and we were simply thrilled when they asked us to capture their wedding as well. We were even more excited when they chose to have a Wilmington wedding at Bakery 105.

Ya’ll, can you believe that Labor Day weekend is upon us? I can’t. We’ve had such a busy summer that in some ways it feels like forever ago that we were kicking off our summer season. We have shot 18 weddings since Memorial Day weekend and have been on two “big” travel adventures. Such a whirlwind of fun! As I sit on our patio with a bit of a welcomed August breeze, I’m already grieving the end of these long summer days.

Friends, sometimes there are weddings that we feel like we have been looking forward to for FOREVER, and then in the blink of an eye, they are over. Ya’ll, Lucas and Britni’s wedding was just like that… we blinked and it’s over. But ya’ll, it was SO GOOD. Britni and Lucas are incredible people. We knew from the beginning that their day was going to be a good one. And it did not disappoint.

Ya’ll can you believe how beautiful this weekend was? Anna and Ben hit the dang jackpot when it comes to weather. Beautiful, sunny skies and temperatures under 90 degrees! That’s unheard of for mid-August. We’d been looking forward to Anna and Ben’s big day at the Cotton Barn for quite some time and let me just tell you… It DID NOT disappoint. We first met Anna and Ben last year at their engagement session. We knew they would be lots of fun throughout their wedding day.

Friends, our first wedding of August is in the books. I’ve shared this in the past, but even though August is still very much summertime, it always feels like the beginning of our fall wedding season, or at least the start of the transition. Some wedding vendors don’t care for July and August weddings, but it’s one of my favorite times of the year. I love all things summer and there’s something in the air with wedding guests and their desire to CELEBRATE and LOVE on the couple when the air is hot and the nights are long.

Ya’ll, I’m making some progress on all of this blogging! Slowly, but surely. Tonight I’m thrilled to share with you guys Hillary and Greg’s wedding film from their Maola at Riverside wedding day. Ya’ll, it was wedding day PERFECTION. Will’s almost done with cooking dinner, so I’ll let the video do all of the talking tonight. Trust us… you’ll see just how much fun we had celebrating Hillary + Greg back in May!
