Some of you may have noticed a morning blog post, which is rare for me. And now I’m back with another rarity - two posts in one day! When the seasons change I am always reminded that my to-do list is pretty long. So today, I’m making an effort to knock some items off of my “to-do” blog. Ya’ll, it feels like just yesterday we were in Wilmington celebrating with Logan and Will. We first met this pair over a year ago at Will’s sister’s wedding and we were simply thrilled when they asked us to capture their wedding as well. We were even more excited when they chose to have a Wilmington wedding at Bakery 105.

When I think of reasons to do a first look, Logan and Will’s wedding day comes to mind. In the days leading up to the wedding, it was pretty clear that we would be faced with rain at some point throughout the day. But ya’ll, I never once let it stress me… I knew that their decision to have a first look saved their photos. Yes, it rained cats and dogs at their ceremony time (which was already planned to be indoors), but ALL of their photos had already been done outside earlier in the day while the sun was shining! I talk about it all the time, but first looks can so often ensure that a couple has amazing outdoor photos to hang on their walls for many, many years to come!
