Friends, our first wedding of August is in the books. I’ve shared this in the past, but even though August is still very much summertime, it always feels like the beginning of our fall wedding season, or at least the start of the transition. Some wedding vendors don’t care for July and August weddings, but it’s one of my favorite times of the year. I love all things summer and there’s something in the air with wedding guests and their desire to CELEBRATE and LOVE on the couple when the air is hot and the nights are long.

Peyton and Tyler’s wedding day was full of celebration and love. It was also full of joy and laughter and lots of sweet moments. Peyton and Tyler are perfect together. They are playful, laid-back, and thoughtful. They have surrounded themselves with lots of fun friends and family as well.

Peyton and Tyler’s wedding was our first time at the Twin Oaks Barn in Garner. It’s such a lovely space, simple with lots of subtle character. The barn is amazing, but one of the most impressive parts from a photographer’s perspective was the gorgeous bridal suite. So often we see the bridal suite overlooked, but it was so spacious, airy, and with the most beautiful natural light.

It was hard for us to pick our favorites from this lovely summertime wedding, but I hope as you scroll through you’ll find yourself smiling as you see so many moments of happiness!
