Ya’ll, to know Kendall is to love her. Her energy lights up a room. She is the type of person that you feel like you have known forever and want to know for the entire remainder of your life. She soaks up the good moments. She makes sure everyone around her is as happy as they can be. She radiates joy. And she’s absolutely beautiful. Watching Katie and Cory’s wedding day unfold on Sunday was one of the most beautiful stories of love. Everyone we spoke to had come from afar to celebrate this amazing couple. While the wedding was relatively intimate with only about 100 guests, there was certainly no lack of love. Everyone in attendance was full of joy and happiness.

Happy Memorial Day, everyone! We hope you have had an amazing, safe weekend celebrating with the ones you love. We spent the weekend celebrating not one, but two amazing couples. On Saturday, we we were in New Bern at the Maola at Riverside capturing Hillary and Greg as they said “I Do.” Though there was a chance earlier in the week for rain, Saturday ended up being the most beautiful, sunny day.

Weddings. We live and breathe them. There are times that it feels like we are going through the motions week after week. Collecting timelines, organizing family photo requests, shooting, and then editing. Sometimes it starts to feel like JUST a job. But then, a couple comes along and stops us in our tracks. Kendall and Travis were that couple for us.

Happy Wednesday, ya’ll! We’re over halfway to the weekend. Can you believe that it’s forecast to be 96 degrees for Saturday’s wedding? Well tonight I’m going to take the opportunity to throw it back to Cameron and Danny’s February wedding. When I think of February, I tend to think of the cold, but they were blessed with the most beautiful day that afforded them the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony.

It’s only Monday, but let’s have a throwback! We had more January weddings than ever this year. We ended the month with Kimberlyn and Alex’s lovely wedding day at the Southern Acres of Bath. You can see the photos from their big day here. We hope you’ll enjoy their wedding film as well!

Ashdon and Justin were our first wedding at Whitehurst Lake House in several years. They have the most beautiful dock overlooking the lake. And while we were hoping for a sunset, Mother Nature had other plans for the day.
