Courtney and Justin planned an intimate, family-only ceremony followed by a fun reception that included more family and friends. We loved that they chose to do a first look so they could spend almost their entire reception celebrating. The sunset on the water at Flowers Landing was perfect for a few extra photos of the two of them.

Happy Sunday, ya’ll! Can you believe that next weekend we celebrate Memorial Day? May has flown by in a whirl of wedding goodness. With 7 weddings this month, we’ve been in a bit of a daze. But in the best way possible. It’s been busy, but full of so many beautiful people, things, and moments.

Guys, can you believe that we’re approaching the end of May? This spring wedding season is flying by us! And it’s been full of so much goodness! Back during one of the first warm stretches of March, we captured Amber’s bridal session at the Rocky Mount Mills.

Ya’ll, we are still in the midst of the busiest stretch of our spring wedding season and we’re still LOVING it! On Saturday, we celebrated Amber and Cameron at the most beautiful farm property in Nash County. Ya’ll, this bride and groom are two of the most laid back clients we have ever worked with.

Saturday was the end of a 14 day stretch where Will and I captured 6 weddings. Ya’ll, it’s the times when we are the busiest that we can’t help but feel so incredibly blessed. Not only are we blessed to be healthy enough to work and to have enough clients to keep us working full-time in this industry that we love, but we also know without a doubt that we have the BEST clients in the world.

Love is patient. 1 Corinthians said it best for Sara and Jonathan. Ya’ll, they were our only couple that the pandemic forced into rescheduling not once, but twice. And our hearts broke for them both times. I can’t imagine the worry they endured for over a year of planning and replanning.
