Love is patient. 1 Corinthians said it best for Sara and Jonathan. Ya’ll, they were our only couple that the pandemic forced into rescheduling not once, but twice. And our hearts broke for them both times. I can’t imagine the worry they endured for over a year of planning and replanning. 1 Corinthians goes on to tell us that love is kind and it is not self-seeking. These, too, describe Sara and Jonathan. They were so kind and thoughtful when rescheduling with all of their wedding vendors. They handled the entire situation with such grace. Their reward? The MOST BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT day on Friday. Okay, I’d be lying if I said it was absolutely perfect. Moments before the ceremony was set to begin while Sara and her dad were spending a few moments alone together, the clasp on her dress decided to break. Like really break… But again, Sara handled the situation with such class and grace. So, the day was ALMOST perfect. It was so nice to see Sara glow with such happiness and it was so easy to see that Jonathan was beside himself with joy.

Sara chose to get ready in her parent’s home, along with her 7 nearest and dearest friends before having a bridesmaid reveal and first look with her dad. We headed to Melrose Knitting Mill, just outside of downtown Raleigh, for a beautiful, timeless, classy ceremony. The crowd was a bit smaller than Sara and Jonathan had planned pre-pandemic, but ya’ll, this group danced the night away and enjoyed every single moment of the reception. Shout out to Bunn DJ Co for LITERALLY rocking the dance floor!
