I’m really struggling with the fact that it is already almost mid-October. That means it’s been nearly a month since Amanda and Freddy’s amazing wedding at the Brooklyn Arts Center. If you saw their wedding day sneak peek of photos post, you already know just how much we loved their day. Like literally every second of the day. It was perfect. In every way. Hayden and Dixon’s October 5th wedding was absolutely perfect. As ya’ll know, September was blazing and there were plenty of memes about Hotober’s arrival, but Hayden and Dixon hit the weather lottery!

You guys, how is it already October? The life of a wedding photographer is particularly strange from September through Christmas. At the beginning of September it still very much feels like summertime and October feels ages away

September through November is quite possibly my favorite time of year in the world of photography. Ya’ll, I am a summer girl through and through, but once September arrives we are blessed enough to shoot at least one wedding per weekend almost every weekend through Christmas.

If you’ve been following our blog over the weekend, you’ve probably realized that we captured not one, not two, but three amazing weddings. Our heads are still spinning from the 15,000+ images we took and I’m too nervous to count up exactly how many minutes of video we filmed.

You guys, wedding #2 of our busy weekend was just as awesome as the first! We simply don’t know how we were so lucky to book not one, not two, but three amazing couples for this past weekend. Mary Catherine and A.J., along with their friends and family, were simply a dream to work with!

Ya’ll, let’s talk about yesterday. Yes, it was Friday the 13th. Yes, there was a ridiculously full harvest moon. Or so they say. I guess for all I really know that could have been made up? And yes, it was the first of 3 weddings we have this weekend. And…. It. Was. Perfect.

Ya’ll I know that across the East Coast there were lots of brides that spent many hours worrying over what Dorian would bring to our area and how it would affect their wedding day. Well, Eastern North Carolina brides were blessed with the most beautiful, sunny, perfect day yesterday!
