Tonight’s blog post is brought to you by my desire to take your mind off Hurricane Dorian. Who else feels like we have been waiting on his arrival for the last month and now that he’s “here” the day has seemed to drag on and on?? So, I’m here to share with the world Katie and Brad’s wedding day highlight film.

Ya’ll, I can’t believe that Labor Day has come and gone. I love summer, but it just flies by too fast. It’s already been two weeks since we were celebrating with Jamie and Tyler at their home church in Zebulon as they said “I Do.”

You guys, yesterday Will and I had the best time celebrating Amanda and Dennis at the Whitehurst Lake House in Washington, NC. Will and I met this amazing couple several months ago and have been excitedly awaiting their wedding day all summer.

Katie has been Mrs. Reaves for several weeks now, so it’s high time that I share with the world some of the goodness that was her bridal session. Katie chose Rose Hill Plantation for her session. If you’ve never been to Rose Hill, it’s simply magical driving onto the property. Every direction you turn is photogenic.

Ya’ll… I’m already in denial that it is mid-August. I love fall weddings; I really do. But to be honest, I’m incredibly sad to see summer go and all of the amazing weddings that have filled our summer days. Kayla and Tyler’s wedding day was certainly a highlight of our summer.

Will and I are showing at the Forever Bridal Wedding Show this weekend and then we’ll have one Saturday off between now and Christmas. I’m feeling a weird mix of excitement, anxiousness (ALL THAT EDITING), and pure joy that we are so blessed to be a part of so many weddings.

You guys… Let’s talk about August for a second. We all know it’s hot and humid and there’s almost a daily risk of afternoon thunderstorms. But there is something that we often forget… August has the potential to give us BEAUTIFUL light.

You guys, July 27th has come and gone which means that Kayla is officially MRS. Tyler Boykin. We are so excited for this adorable, happy couple as they begin the most rewarding journey of their lives - marriage. Now that they are married, I am so excited to share with the world Kayla’s bridal session.
