Our sweet Keagan is now Mrs. Dakota Roberson, and we are so excited to share her bridal session! Keagan is a breath of fresh air in this chaotic, busy world. She’s kind. She’s thoughtful. She’s funny. She’s gorgeous. She keeps you on your toes. Most importantly, she makes me and Will feel young! To put it simply, to know Keagan is to love her. We enjoyed her bridal session last fall around Washington, and we know you’ll love scrolling through our favorite shots too!

Mrs. Mauldin is off enjoying her honeymoon in tropical paradise, so tonight I’m giving the rest of you something beautiful to look at - her bridal portraits. Kayla (and Annie) were amazing to work with during her rainy day bridal session. It was our first time at her gorgeous wedding venue, A Touch of Country. Honestly the rain was the perfect opportunity to use more of their indoor space than we would have otherwise. Enjoy!

Will and I hands down have been blessed with the best clients in the entire world. We sincerely love our job and the people we get to meet while capturing such important moments. Will and I are thrilled that Meghan and Jalen are on our September wedding calendar. Friends, this evening I’m thrilled to share with you all a preview from Kayla and Aaron’s wedding on Saturday. Though there was an unexpected period of rain and an uninvited ceremony guest (a little corn snake), I’ll still alway think back on their big day as perfection. A Touch of Country is a new-to-us venue and it met all of our expectations and then some. It’s such a gem of a venue. Kayla and Aaron were so thorough with their wedding planning and the day was so smooth.

Somewhere along the way I blinked and we are almost done with our March 2023 weddings. Every year this happens. It feels like it takes forever for our spring wedding season to get ramped up and then suddenly we are in the thick of it. We were so excited to celebrate Megan and Ben as they said “I Do” on Megan’s family property on Saturday. The entire farm was the epitome of everything good about eastern NC - wide open spaces, fields of green, and kind, welcoming people.

Happy Thursday, friends. I don’t really know where this week has gone but Will and I both have enjoyed lots of productivity this week. Something about the start of spring wedding season does that to us. So tonight, I’m using Throwback Thursday to share with you all one our favorite weddings of 2022, a wedding that is definitely in our top 10 of all time. This wedding checked all of the boxes - beautiful decor, everything ran on time, attention to detail, lovely venue… But like I’ve said time and time again, it’s the PEOPLE that made this wedding stand out.

Tonight I’m throwing it back to more than 4 months ago to Danielle and Rodney’s wedding day. How is it even possible that 4 months have already passed by? I’ll never quite understand why time passes so quickly as adults. Danielle and Rodney had a perfect November day to celebrate their marriage. They were surrounded by loving family and friends. I love how full of joy and happiness they were throughout the entire wedding day. I hope you’ll enjoy their wedding film!
