Now that Lauren is Mrs. Brandon Chavez, I’m thrilled to share with the world her bridal session. With a March wedding, Lauren chose to have her bridal session a bit earlier than typical to avoid the cold, dreary winter months. And what a good decision that was. We spent a beautiful November day exploring her family farm and downtown Edenton. Lauren is such a beautiful soul, both inside and out. Enjoy some of our favorite shots!

Ya’ll, I’m blogging a video that is less than a month old. That never happens. But we’ve had amazing weddings so far this year, and it’s hard not to be excited about blogging the goodness that we have experienced.

Will and I had THE best day celebrating Lauren and Brandon yesterday as they said “I Do.” On paper, the day wasn’t perfect. Mother Nature threw in a curveball with high winds that took some creative thinking decor wise. And poor Lauren was probably so tired of pulling hair out of her face. But, we still left with the feeling that yesterday was absolute perfection. From amazingly warm and welcoming friends, family, and bridal party, to a couple that kept a smile on their faces all day, to delicious food and amazing fellowship, the day was nothing short of amazing.

Since I’ve only blogged a handful of times in the last few months, it only makes sense that I eventually hit you guys with more than one blog post in a day every now and then, right? So tonight, I’m sharing with you a second wedding film we captured in January. Peri and Adam had an absolutely lovely day to start off our 2023 wedding season. Perfection. Absolute perfection. How has it already been almost 6 weeks since Caitlyn and Trace said “I Do”? This week, I’m thrilled their wedding film is our Throwback Thursday feature. It was absolutely the best day! Looking back, I’m even more in awe that they had such a beautiful January day to celebrate. We hope you’ll enjoy some of our favorite moments from their big day!

How is it already Wednesday, ya’ll? There was a point on Sunday that I thought I’d have these previews up that evening, but we’ve stayed very busy this week. But ya’ll, Sammy Jo and Tom’s sneak peeks are worth the wait. We had an amazing time celebrating these two on Saturday at a new-to-us venue, The Maxwell. Everything about the day was absolute perfection.

Sarah and Matt’s wedding day has been on our calendar since 2021. Which means we spent a lot of time anticipating this day. And ya’ll, it did not disappoint. In fact, it was hands down one of the best and easiest weddings we have ever been a part of. We love smaller wedding parties, an intimate guest list, and large open spaces. Sarah and Matt’s wedding day checked all of the boxes. And we hit Golden Hour for the bride and groom photos perfectly.

Will and I hope all of you had an amazing Valentine’s Day. We spent the morning volunteering at the animal shelter before taking one of the doggies out for a lunch date. We finished our evening with sharing crab legs with our cats. Did you know that a small amount of crab meat is safe for cats? I’m sure glad, because they love it. And we adore seeing them so happy. In some respects, Valentine’s Day seems like a silly holiday, but I really do enjoy celebrating all kinds of love.
