Friends, many of you have heard me say that we have had the BEST weddings this year. Brylie and Tyler’s big day was definitely a highlight not just of our fall season, but of our entire 2022. Seriously, Hurricane Ian may have threatened to throw a kink in our plans, but the day turned out as perfectly as any wedding we have ever been a part of. Seriously, every single detail was Pinterest-worthy. Brylie and Tyler were absolutely amazing every step of the way.

Friends, I keep thinking that today is Wednesday and we get to celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow. But, instead there’s an extra day of work between me and that turkey I’m planning to gobble up. Thanksgiving has become one of my favorite holidays over the last few years. I love reflecting and truly soaking in the experience of appreciating all that I have been blessed with. This year there seems to be more than ever to be thankful for. Near the top of my list is my gratitude for our business.

Ya’ll, here’s the moment I hang my head in shame. I simply cannot believe I have let Lauren and Brandon’s engagement session from May go this long without making it to our blog. But ya’ll, it was the sweetest little session. Lauren and Brandon are on our March 2023 calendar and we simply couldn’t be more thrilled. They are so genuinely kind and easy to be around. They are laid-back in the best sense of the word. We know their wedding day will be amazing.

Happy Tuesday, ya’ll! Have you guys all transitioned to Daylight Savings Time yet? I’m still 100% on the struggle bus. We’ve got three bridal sessions this week and having to leave during the middle of the day is really throwing me. And then when we get home, 6:00 somehow already feels like bedtime. So I’m a day later than usual sharing this past weekend’s wedding with the world. But ya’ll, trust me, Saturday was PERFECTION and definitely worth the share!

Ya’ll, I’m so excited for tonight’s blog post. Lindsay and Nick’s wedding day is one that I’ll never forget. It would be easy to say that Hurricane Ian and the chaos it caused by forcing the wedding to be moved up a day is the reason I’ll forever remember Lindsay and Nick, but really it’s the grace and positivity they showed throughout the whole experience that is etched into my memory.

Ya’ll, making the blog post for Paige and Davis’s wedding film is almost bittersweet. I simply can’t believe that their day has come and gone already and now, after this post, everything I share with you all will basically be repeats of what you have already seen. But ya’ll, the day was filled with SOOOOO much goodness. SO much joy. SO much happiness. SO much elegance. SO much beauty. And most importantly, SO much love. We adore Paige and Davis and their amazing families. I know that after watching their wedding film, you’ll see why. Enjoy!

Ya’ll, I’m still trucking along in an effort to get caught up with my blogging before we ring in the New Year. I know it’s ambitious, but I want you all to be able to enjoy the goodness we have experienced during this beautifully chaotic year. This post is throwing it back to a bridal session for one of our lovely August brides. Anna was such a delight to have on our 2022 calendar. She’s friendly, funny, and full of light and laughter. We really enjoyed getting to know her throughout her wedding, engagement, and bridal sessions.

Kaylee and Cameron were wed back in September at a true gem of a venue in Goldsboro - the Firehouse. Kaylee and Cameron had the sweetest friends and family present to celebrate them and their love for each other. They had an amazing vision for the space and executed it perfectly. There’s not a second of their wedding film that I don’t adore. I hope you’ll enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
