Friends, I keep thinking that today is Wednesday and we get to celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow. But, instead there’s an extra day of work between me and that turkey I’m planning to gobble up. Thanksgiving has become one of my favorite holidays over the last few years. I love reflecting and truly soaking in the experience of appreciating all that I have been blessed with. This year there seems to be more than ever to be thankful for. Near the top of my list is my gratitude for our business. Will and I are so incredibly blessed with amazing clients that welcome us into their “best day ever.”

Let’s talk about last Friday, friends. While we’re on the topic of gratefulness, I can’t help but mention that the first word that comes to mind when I think of Liz and Will is gratitude. Ya’ll, these two spent so much of their wedding day letting those around them know just how grateful they were for their presence. From a vendor perspective, we all received heartfelt thanks and genuine hugs for the role we each played. Liz and Will took a moment during the ceremony to embrace each person that did a reading. As I watched these two greet guests afterwards, the first words out of their mouths were “thank you.” Liz and Will are the type of people that recognize and appreciate all the goodness they have in their lives and aren’t afraid to let those around them know how much they are loved and appreciated.

If I had to choose another word that comes to mind when I think of Liz and Will, I can’t quite choose… stunning, gorgeous, photogenic, fashionable… You get the picture. They made our job so incredibly easy. Insanely easy. There’s not a single thing that I would change about either of their ensembles.

And finally, the last word that comes straight to mind when I think of this duo, is joyful emotion. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen so many happy tears. So much joy. So much happiness. So much LOVE. Ya’ll, my new goal in life is to live life with the joyful emotion that Liz and Will both so freely give. I wish I could bottle up their positive energy and share it with everyone I meet. The world would without a doubt be a better place.
