Ya’ll, we have our Christmas mini sessions starting next weekend. Our first day of sessions is at The Cotton Barn, a lovely venue in Winterville. So it’s only fitting that tonight’s blog post is dedicated to Britni and Lucas’s wedding film. Britni and Lucas had a perfect day for their wedding. They had such an amazing vision for the Cotton Barn and executed it beautifully. Britni and Lucas are the type of people that make everyone around them feel so loved and welcomed.

True to my word on my attempt at getting caught up on blogging, here’s your second blog post on this gorgeous Sunday. Next up is Heather’s Hope Plantation bridal session. We shot this session back in May on a beautiful sunny afternoon. However on our drive home, the sky opened up and it POURED. We felt so grateful that we were able to get these photos in before the rain came. Heather is such a genuinely kind and joyful person. She makes my heart so happy when she’s around. And as you can see, she’s simply stunning.

So today, I’m starting with Peyton and Tyler’s summertime wedding film at the Twin Oaks Barn in Garner. Ya’ll, already know that I love everything summertime and this wedding day was no exception. Seriously ya’ll, it was perfection in every way. A friendly, joyful, photogenic couple mixed with some of our favorite “friendors” at a breathtaking venue? Yes please! I hope you’ll enjoy this throwback on this beautiful summer-like November day!

Friends, Will and I have been working all week on two wedding videos from last weekend. We’re so excited to share those final videos with our clients, but in the meantime I’m going to use this Throwback Thursday to share Matti + Sam’s Merrimon-Wynn wedding day film with you all. Matti and Sam were a highlight of our summer calendar. Their day was filled with thoughtful touches, a fun second line, and so many sentimental moments.

Ya’ll, Will and I have shot almost 400 weddings (we’ll hit that milestone in December), so in lots of ways we feel like we have seen it all. At times we feel like we are just going through the motions. Getting ready, ceremony, portraits, introductions, dances, speeches, cake. Go home and edit. Repeat. I mean that in the best way possible. There’s something comforting about the predictability of a wedding day. But, I have lost a bit of the emotion I used to feel when attending weddings. Ya’ll, Friday changed that for me. Josh and Mitchell have forever changed me.

Friends, let’s talk about Saturday. PERFECTION. Ya’ll, we have had an exciting 2022 wedding season and it has been a bit of a whirlwind, but Heather and Adam’s wedding is definitely a standout wedding day that I’ll never forget. We got to know Heather and Adam more than a year ago during their very, very hot engagement session. But they were absolute champs working through the heat and sweat. They were incredibly loving towards each other. We knew from that session alone that their wedding day was going to be amazing.

Here’s a throwback for your Thursday evening. Hannah and Hunter’s wedding day feels like just yesterday and forever ago all at the same time. It’s hard for me to believe that their wedding was mid-July, yet we have already shot fifteen weddings since. Busy season seems to make life fly by. Hannah and Hunter were one of the highlight weddings of our summer season. We were able to celebrate with several of our past couples that day as well.

Happy Tuesday my friends! Tonight we had a bridal session at Tryon Palace that we won’t be able to share for several months, so I thought it was only fitting to share with you all Brylie’s bridal session at Tryon Palace from this summer. As you can see, Brylie is as stunning as they come. But you should also know that she is kind, thoughtful, an amazing nurse, and has a huge heart. She’s got a “go get ‘em”personality and she’s already making a huge difference in this world. I hope you’ll enjoy some of my favorite photos from her bridal session.
