Friends, I’m back with another wedding film to share with the world. Tonight’s post is all about Krislyn and Andrew’s big day! Two weeks in a row we captured weddings up in Ahoskie. And two weeks in a row, we left saying “those are some of the sweetest people we have ever met.”

Ya’ll, tonight’s wedding film is a good one! I’m throwing it back to Elizabeth and Noah’s Ahoskie wedding day. These two were the official kick-off to our holiday wedding season and we simply could not have asked for a better couple to get us into the Christmas spirit.

Ya’ll, I simply can’t believe this is the last time that I will be posting anything from Carly and Zach’s wedding celebrations. If you’ve followed along with their story, then you know the pandemic threw a curveball at their wedding plans. But that meant we were able to celebrate with Carly and Zach not once, but twice.

Guys, spring is right around the corner. And I. Am. Here. For It. Seriously, I’m not at my best during these long winter months. But something that has given me life is looking back on our fall weddings and knowing that wedding season will be here again soon enough. Tonight’s post is a throwback to mid-November when we shot Hannah and Preston’s wedding video.

Amber and Ian had the absolute most perfect day to say “I Do.” With abundant sunshine and warm temperatures, we could not have asked for better conditions for outdoor photos. We love that Amber and Ian planned for a first look so that more of the day could be spent celebrating.

Sometimes I think our best weddings are the ones that are booked relatively close to the wedding date. At the end of last summer, Will and I chatted with Olivia about the possibility of capturing her wedding day. We felt an instant connection and were thrilled when she and John officially booked us for their wedding video.

Hey guys! I’m so excited for tonight’s blog post. Heather and Zack were our second wedding of the year. When I think of January weddings, I think of days like Heather and Zack’s. Yes, the high temperature that day was barely 40 degrees, but the atmosphere and joy filled the day with a warmth that can’t be beat.

When I think back on 2021, I think “it was a good year.” It was a much appreciated year after the chaos that ensued during 2020. Was 2021 what we once hoped it would be? Not exactly. We still found ourselves working in the midst of covid surges and wearing masks. But the wedding “boom” that began in 2021 brought us many magical moments and lots of lovely couples as well.
