Tonight I’m excited to share with you all Amber and Cameron’s wedding day highlight film. This gorgeous couple was married on a beautiful horse farm back in May. And ya’ll, when we think of our ideal clients, it’s folks like Amber and Cameron that come to mind. They are so much fun to be around. They are down to Earth. They are gorgeous.

Happy Thursday, ya’ll! I hope everyone stayed safe during today’s storm. I can’t believe it’s the beginning of July and we’re already being affected by tropical storms. Since it’s Thursday, I’m throwing it back to the beginning of May and sharing with you all Miranda and Clark’s wedding day highlight film.

I usually like to post bridal sessions the day after the wedding, but our workflow in 2021 has been anything but usual for us. But that’s okay. Today I really enjoyed getting to go through Morgan’s bridal portraits once again. This beautiful bride has been such a joy to work with. She is truly a photographer’s dream.

Ya’ll, when I think back on their wedding day, two things will always come to mind…

Ya’ll, we LOVE when clients ask us to come to their property for engagement sessions. They have literally created a one-of-a-kind situation for themselves. Seriously, our creative juices flow in a way that can’t be matched when we are at some of our most-used locations for photos (although those common locations certainly have a merit all to themselves).

Ya’ll, as I come down from the high that was our spring wedding season, so many thoughts come to mind. But GRATEFUL is at the top of that list! We are so stinking blessed to have this career and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t feel GRATEFUL. In June we captured eight amazing weddings, from small to big and everything in between.

Ya’ll, we wrapped up our spring 2021 wedding season with the most amazing couple on Saturday! Literally, it was the most perfect day celebrating Megan and Justin at the Washington Civic Center. We could not have asked for a more perfect couple to spend the day with. My favorite part?

Friends, yesterday we wrapped up our 2021 spring wedding season. We’ve got one wedding in July before gearing up for a busy late summer and early fall. On my to-do list? Well, lots of summery things… Afternoons at the pool, a few camping trips, possibly a road trip through New England, catching up on some reading, and the likes.
