Kenzie + Lee - Goose Creek State Park Elopement - Washington NC Photographer + Videographer

Ya’ll, as I come down from the high that was our spring wedding season, so many thoughts come to mind. But GRATEFUL is at the top of that list! We are so stinking blessed to have this career and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t feel GRATEFUL. In June we captured eight amazing weddings, from small to big and everything in between. My favorite thing about wedding photography will always be the COUPLES we get to meet along the way and building those relationships.

I’m skipping ahead in my blogging queue today to share with you guys one of my favorite weddings of 2021 (and quite possibly ever!). I was so delighted when Kenzie first messaged us to see about the possibility of capturing her intimate wedding day. She was completely open to our suggestions for location, and we landed on Goose Creek State Park once we realized how very laid-back the park service was about hosting the affair. And ya’ll, we hit the jackpot when it came to weather - low 80s and plenty of sunshine. After a first look, we loved exploring a handful of different areas with Kenzie and Lee before their sunset ceremony. I wish we always had a few hours of uninterrupted time to capture photos of our couples on the wedding day!

Kenzie and Lee, you guys are amazing and it’s so easy to see how perfect you are for each other. We loved how laid-back and fun you both were throughout this entire experience. We’ll literally never forget how much joy we felt capturing your big day.
