Ya’ll, let’s talk about Saturday! Our neighbors got married!! And it was PERFECT. We’ve been looking forward to Jamie and Hunter’s wedding day since they first told us they were engaged. They are the sweetest couple and are insanely photogenic. The rain may have caused them to resort to Plan C as far as ceremony location, but it was the most beautiful back-up plan.

Does anyone else keep thinking that it’s Friday, or is that just me? We’ve had so many weddings lately, many of which haven’t necessarily been on Saturdays, which means I honestly never know if I’m coming or going. But we are THRILLED to have the blessing of such a busy spring season.

Operation get caught up on blogging begins now. Starting Saturday we have 5 weddings and a rehearsal in a 9 day stretch, so it may be a bit before I can say I’m fully caught up. We’ve had such an amazing spring season that I’d hate for anything to get left out.

Now that you guys have had the chance to see some of our favorite images from Courtney and Justin’s wedding day, I’m thrilled to share with you guys Courtney’s bridal session. I don’t know how she did it, but Courtney (who is self-professed cold-natured), made the day we chose for her portraits look like it was a warm day

Courtney and Justin planned an intimate, family-only ceremony followed by a fun reception that included more family and friends. We loved that they chose to do a first look so they could spend almost their entire reception celebrating. The sunset on the water at Flowers Landing was perfect for a few extra photos of the two of them.

Happy Sunday, ya’ll! Can you believe that next weekend we celebrate Memorial Day? May has flown by in a whirl of wedding goodness. With 7 weddings this month, we’ve been in a bit of a daze. But in the best way possible. It’s been busy, but full of so many beautiful people, things, and moments.

Guys, can you believe that we’re approaching the end of May? This spring wedding season is flying by us! And it’s been full of so much goodness! Back during one of the first warm stretches of March, we captured Amber’s bridal session at the Rocky Mount Mills.
