Megan and Brandon are two of the most laid-back people we have ever met. Megan’s go-with-the-flow attitude makes her the perfect bride. She took every suggestion we gave her and the day played out flawlessly.

Last month, Will and I were able to check something off of our photography bucket list - a proposal. We’ve been asked to shoot them before, but it always seems to be a last minute thought from the groom-to-be to have a photographer there to capture the moment.

You guys, I’m so excited for tonight’s blog post because it means that our 2020 wedding season has officially begun! 2020, ya’ll! Will and I first dreamed of this little business back in the fall of 2010 and started shooting weddings the very next year. It’s been such a whirlwind of a ride with many ups and many downs.

As we wait for our upcoming weddings, I’ve got a throwback with so much goodness that I really should have shared it before now!

Happy Thursday, ya’ll! We’re one day closer to the weekend and I’ve got a Throwback Thursday that will put a little sunshine in your life! Today’s throwback is dedicated to Alissa and Chad in their early fall engagement session.

You guys, since the photos featured in this blog post are technically more than two months old, it should probably have made our calendar as a Throwback Thursday. But on this chilly, overcast Sunday morning, I’m making the executive decision to not save this goodness for another four days.

Today’s blog post throws it all the way back to August when we shot Hayden’s bridal session at the Benvenue Country Club. It was one of those summer days where the forecast started with a 20% chance of rain and slowly crept it’s way up to >60%, but the radar showed the rain being gone by session time.

Tonight I’m back with another Throwback Thursday that I’m so excited to share with the world. Although my ultimate goal is to create an organized life where I’m always “caught up” on blogging, there’s something beautiful about revisiting our images several months after they were taken.
