You guys, wedding #2 of our busy weekend was just as awesome as the first! We simply don’t know how we were so lucky to book not one, not two, but three amazing couples for this past weekend. Mary Catherine and A.J., along with their friends and family, were simply a dream to work with!

Ya’ll, let’s talk about yesterday. Yes, it was Friday the 13th. Yes, there was a ridiculously full harvest moon. Or so they say. I guess for all I really know that could have been made up? And yes, it was the first of 3 weddings we have this weekend. And…. It. Was. Perfect.

Ya’ll I know that across the East Coast there were lots of brides that spent many hours worrying over what Dorian would bring to our area and how it would affect their wedding day. Well, Eastern North Carolina brides were blessed with the most beautiful, sunny, perfect day yesterday!

Who else feels like we have been waiting on his arrival for the last month and now that he’s “here” the day has seemed to drag on and on?? So, I’m here to share with the world Katie and Brad’s wedding day highlight film.

Ya’ll, I can’t believe that Labor Day has come and gone. I love summer, but it just flies by too fast. It’s already been two weeks since we were celebrating with Jamie and Tyler at their home church in Zebulon as they said “I Do.”

You guys, yesterday Will and I had the best time celebrating Amanda and Dennis at the Whitehurst Lake House in Washington, NC. Will and I met this amazing couple several months ago and have been excitedly awaiting their wedding day all summer.

Katie has been Mrs. Reaves for several weeks now, so it’s high time that I share with the world some of the goodness that was her bridal session. Katie chose Rose Hill Plantation for her session. If you’ve never been to Rose Hill, it’s simply magical driving onto the property. Every direction you turn is photogenic.

Ya’ll… I’m already in denial that it is mid-August. I love fall weddings; I really do. But to be honest, I’m incredibly sad to see summer go and all of the amazing weddings that have filled our summer days. Kayla and Tyler’s wedding day was certainly a highlight of our summer.
