If there was ever a perfect day for a spring wedding, yesterday was it. Katie and Robby hit the weather jackpot for their wedding day. Not only was the weather perfect, but the grounds at their venue, The Hudson Manor were in absolute beautiful bloom.

Now that you guys have seen some of our favorite shots from Sarah and Nelson’s Tryon Palace wedding day, I’m beyond excited to be back to share with you all Sarah’s bridal session from earlier this month at Rose Hill Plantation.

Will and I hope you guys had the happiest of Easter weekends! Along with our Easter festivities, we were able to celebrate with Sarah and Nelson on Saturday at their Stanly House Garden wedding ceremony and Mattocks Hall reception.

You guys, how is it already mid-April? March flew by in a whirlwind of fun and excitement, and April is flying by in the blink of an eye as well. We spent Saturday in Raleigh celebrating Lauren and Quoc.

You guys…. It’s always hard for Will and me to wrap our minds around how quickly our spring wedding season seems to go from just barely starting to the feeling that we are in the middle of it. We have LOVED all of our March and April weddings so far.

Will and I sometimes have a hard time explaining to our friends and family exactly why we are so willing to give up almost every Saturday afternoon and evening to shoot weddings. After eight years in the industry, we still enjoy the excitement of the hustle and bustle of watching the wedding day play out.

Tonight’s blog post is definitely one I am excited to share. I’ve put together some of our favorite shots from yesterday’s wedding at the Washington Civic Center in Washington, NC. Lauren and Richard were the perfect couple for us to round up our March weddings with.

The last few weeks I’ve been pretty busy working at the hospital which means when I’m not at work, I’m catching up on sleep. Of course this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does put me behind on my blogging (and catching up on e-mails -whoops!).
