Meagan and Hunter's wedding this past Saturday was one for the books! There's nothing quite like an outdoor ceremony surrounded by colorful flowers, followed by a reception in a cozy barn. Legend has it that burying a bottle of bourbon before the wedding at the ceremony site will bring good weather on the big day. And that's exactly what Meagan and Hunter had - perfect weather! Whether or not you believe in this superstitious practice, it's a fun way to add a unique touch to the wedding day.

This past weekend, Will and I had "double-header" weddings. On Saturday we celebrated with Ruthie and Nathan. We had the pleasure of capturing the beauty of Ruthie's home church in Ahoskie as they said "I Do" before their lively Beechwood Country Club reception.

It was another two wedding weekend for me and Will. We started the weekend on Friday by celebrating Kassidy and Mason down in Benson. The Barn at Broadslab is stunning in the summertime. Kassidy and Mason, who have known each other since they were kids, chose this picturesque venue for their big day.

Recently, we were lucky enough to capture a truly special event at the Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh NC. It was an intimate wedding with family and friends, and we were blown away by the love and energy in the room.

We try to limit the number of weekends where we shoot 3 weddings in a row, but this past weekend the stars aligned and we had three perfect couples to celebrate. On Saturday, we captured Chloe and Chandler’s wedding day at a new-to-us venue, Amelia Grove, alongside some of our favorite vendors turned friends. Chloe and Chandler planned such an amazing day. The cooler than average temperatures and sunny skies were the icing on the cake.

Let’s keep this blogging train on a roll! Next up is Kayla and Aaron’s wedding film. With the exception of a quick, heavy, unexpected rain shower and a snake relocation, they had the most perfect day filled with lots of sweet moments, laughter, and love. It was a day that we’ll never forget - in all the best of ways! We hope you’ll enjoy their wedding film!

Throwing it back a bit tonight, but it’s about time that I got caught up on some wedding videos on the blog. Tonight, I’m so excited to share with you all Megan and Ben’s wedding film. They had the most perfect March day on the farm to celebrate their love. Megan and Ben have such a timeless, genuine love for each other and are two of the most welcoming, kind people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We hope you’ll enjoy their wedding film!

Two blog posts in one night?!? Who am I? Next up is our bride Kaley and her bridal session at Yankee Hall. Photographer friends, have you ever had a bride that you knew from the vert beginning would be absolute perfection? Well, for us, that was Kaley. She’s obviously stunning, but she has an absolutely beautiful, pure soul too. She is so kind and welcoming. We loved every moment of working with her and Camden throughout the wedding experience.
