Tonight, I’m throwing it back to an engagement session we shot in August. We met up with Katie and Cory in downtown Edenton, not too far from where they will be saying “I Do” next Memorial Day weekend. Katie and Cory are living in Austin, Texas and we could have talked for hours about the goodness that is their wonderful city.

A global pandemic forced us to wait an extra seven months to celebrate Ashley and Eddie’s big day, but once the wedding finally arrived, they celebrated BIG! Ya’ll, Ashley and Eddie are two of the most personable, enjoyable people we know and we were so excited for their friends and family to come together to show them how much they are loved.

Week after week, Will and I talk about how much we love our jobs. Seriously, we think it’s such an amazing blessing to love our work. But it will never be the views, the grand decor/flowers, or the entertainment that makes us feel so lucky… It’s always the people we are blessed enough to meet.

Saturday was perfect in every way for Hunter and TC, but to be honest I knew it was going to be. She is such a planner, but also knows when to go with the flow. We had a sneak peek into how gorgeous she would be when Will and I shot her bridal session last month

Ya’ll, Saturday was PERFECTION. We loved every moment of working with this gorgeous couple. They had a first look which meant that 99% of their photos were done before the ceremony which made the day extremely stress-free. We loved that they wanted to do the photos at Moratoc Park

When I think about Saturday, two words come to mind - the best. Ya’ll, we had THE BEST day celebrating Dana and Matt. It truly was a day that I will never forget. From the moment we walked into the door of Dana’s hotel suite until the very last frame of the evening, we felt like we were spending our time with friends that we just happened to be photographing.

We really kicked things off on the right foot for the weekend when we captured Victoria and Mat’s wedding day on Friday. It had all the things that we love about weddings - a beautiful venue, a fun, energy-filled wedding party, lots of emotion, and a beautiful couple full of love for each other!

Believe it or not, we have only had one New Bern wedding in all of 2021, but boy oh boy was it a good one! We celebrated Amanda and Gerard back in June at the newly renovated Riverfront Convention Center. Threats of rain moved their outdoor ceremony indoors, but what a beautiful space the convention center has for ceremonies!
