Ya’ll, let me go ahead and tell you like it is… One of the hardest parts of being a photographer is trying to predict the weather. Will and I sometimes swear we have a jinx: if a client is concerned about weather (and we’d rather wait a bit longer before rescheduling), it most certainly will rain.

Ya’ll, Saturday’s wedding marked the first of TWENTY-FIVE weddings Will and I are blessed enough to have scheduled before now and the end of June. Whoa! We’re so excited for everything except the editing! But one thing we have learned over the years, we love starting off our wedding season on a good note.

Now that Sterling and Steven are officially Mr. and Mrs. Cava, Will and I are thrilled to share with the world Sterling’s bridal session. She chose to schedule her bridal session at their wedding location. The venue is particularly special to Sterling.

Hey guys! I can’t believe it, but wedding season starts up this weekend and we simply can’t believe it’s time to jump back in full-force. Before I started writing this post, I took a second to look at our spring calendar. While it’s a bit daunting, we are so excited to get back into the swing of things!

It’s Thursday, so let’s throw it back to our first wedding of 2021, Sara and Drew’s January Wrightsville Manor wedding day! We’ve always loved Wrightsville Manor and we knew it was going to be just as gorgeous in winter as we had seen it during the spring and fall months in past years.

Years from now, when I think back on Sarah Beth and Brad’s wedding day, I know two things will come to mind: joy and happiness. There was also lots of beauty, emotion, personalization, fun, and laughter, but as a couple, Sarah Beth and Brad are two of the most joyful people I believe I have ever known.

You guys, our 2021 calendar is filling in quickly and we couldn’t be more pumped for wedding season to be in full force starting in a few weeks! We’ve got an extremely full spring and fall and we cannot wait to celebrate all of the amazing couples we’ll be working with!

On December 12th, Brianna and Nathan became not just names on a contract, but people that we will fondly think back on for many years. Brianna is as sweet as pie and loves her family fiercely. She made it a priority to have a special moment with those nearest and dearest to her before the ceremony.
