Yesterday, we were so excited to share with the world some of our favorite images from Taylor and Perry’s wedding day. Today, I’m just as excited to share with you all some of Taylor’s gorgeous bridal portraits. Thanks to the pandemic, Taylor had to hide these portraits from the world for exactly 5 months.

As I sit on our front stoop, typing up this blog post, the harsh reality is setting in that summer is almost over. I can still hear the crickets and a mosquito is circling me, but there’s something different about the air and the light this afternoon.

Have you guys ever been to the Hope House in Windsor, NC? If not, it’s definitely worth a visit! It’s such a lovely hidden gem in eastern North Carolina. We were so excited when Brandice and Nick chose to have their engagement session at the Hope House property.

Are you guys tired of hearing me talk about how much I love summer yet? It’s hands down my favorite time of year. One month ago we captured Sterling and Steven’s summertime engagement session at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest.

Caroline and Tanner were such an easy couple to work with. Caroline is the type of bride that knows what she wants, but she has such a sweet, kind way of expressing her thoughts and desires. Caroline makes sure that those closest to her know that they are loved and she’s super fun to be around.

You guys… I simply cannot believe that Saturday has come and gone. We feel like we waited FOREVER for Caroline and Tanner’s wedding day and now it is over. We can’t wait to share their wedding day photos and video with them, but in the meantime we are so excited to share with the world Caroline’s bridal session!

In a typical year, we shoot one or two small weddings. 2020 had other plans for us. By year’s end we will have shot a half dozen or more small weddings. Though I would have never wished this pandemic on anyone and their wedding plans, I’m enjoying the small weddings that we have been blessed to be a part of.

Late summer is always a whirlwind of fun for us. We’re still swooning over our summer weddings, but we’re also in the midst of planning for our fall weddings and we’ve booked quite a few weddings into the next year as well.
