Cierra and Brian are so incredibly in love with each other. They are full of smiles and laughs when they are together. Yesterday they were truly surrounded by their nearest and dearest and the love that their family poured out was so very special.

When Carly first messaged about dates for their spring engagement session, I randomly mentioned that we were going to Boone for a February getaway. Ya’ll know we love to travel and would love to capture more sessions in the mountains, so I figured it couldn’t hurt to mention it to her as an option for their session.

Megan and Brandon’s wedding day was the picture of perfection from a weather-standpoint in mid-March. For the first half of the day, the sun was shining and by couple’s portraits we had beautiful overcast lighting.

Megan and Brandon are two of the most laid-back people we have ever met. Megan’s go-with-the-flow attitude makes her the perfect bride. She took every suggestion we gave her and the day played out flawlessly.

Last month, Will and I were able to check something off of our photography bucket list - a proposal. We’ve been asked to shoot them before, but it always seems to be a last minute thought from the groom-to-be to have a photographer there to capture the moment.

You guys, I’m so excited for tonight’s blog post because it means that our 2020 wedding season has officially begun! 2020, ya’ll! Will and I first dreamed of this little business back in the fall of 2010 and started shooting weddings the very next year. It’s been such a whirlwind of a ride with many ups and many downs.

As we wait for our upcoming weddings, I’ve got a throwback with so much goodness that I really should have shared it before now!
