You guys, how is it already mid-April? March flew by in a whirlwind of fun and excitement, and April is flying by in the blink of an eye as well. We spent Saturday in Raleigh celebrating Lauren and Quoc.

You guys…. It’s always hard for Will and me to wrap our minds around how quickly our spring wedding season seems to go from just barely starting to the feeling that we are in the middle of it. We have LOVED all of our March and April weddings so far.

Will and I sometimes have a hard time explaining to our friends and family exactly why we are so willing to give up almost every Saturday afternoon and evening to shoot weddings. After eight years in the industry, we still enjoy the excitement of the hustle and bustle of watching the wedding day play out.

Tonight’s blog post is definitely one I am excited to share. I’ve put together some of our favorite shots from yesterday’s wedding at the Washington Civic Center in Washington, NC. Lauren and Richard were the perfect couple for us to round up our March weddings with.

The last few weeks I’ve been pretty busy working at the hospital which means when I’m not at work, I’m catching up on sleep. Of course this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does put me behind on my blogging (and catching up on e-mails -whoops!).

Ya’ll, now that the weekend has come to an end, my mind is still whirling from the excitement of shooting Brittany and Tripp’s Manteo, NC wedding day. It had been over 5 years since we had shot at Pirate’s Cove Marina.

Can you believe that this week we celebrate the first day of spring? My goodness, our "winter break" flew by and we found ourselves shooting out first wedding of the spring season on Saturday.

Now that Heidi and Nick have had a chance to share their wedding day highlight film with their friends and family, I’m excited to share with the world as well.
