A Thank You…

To the 500 couples that have trusted me and Will with your wedding photos/videos since 2011: THANK YOU. These words alone will never be enough.

YOU are the reason we are blessed to do what we do. And there is simply no way to express our gratitude that will ever come close to the appreciation we feel in our hearts.

Back in 2011, Will and I got married. Of course that was a memorable time of our lives. But, dare I say, the most memorable part of 2011 was launching our wedding business? Seriously, in many ways our career in the wedding industry defines us. As individuals. As working adults. As a couple. Sometimes it feels like we live and breathe weddings. Maybe a bit too much. But how lucky are we to have found a successful career in an industry that still excites us?

All because a few clients in the very beginning believed in us, even when we didn’t believe in ourselves. The very first wedding Will ever shot was a random couple that found him online. The next several were people that met us at a bridal show and for some crazy reason had faith in us even though we literally had no portfolio to back us. You guys are the real MVPs in this story!

But trust me when I say… each and every couple that has ever trusted in us, believed in us, supported us: you haven’t gone unnoticed. Some of you are loud and proud cheerleaders of the Greenes. Others have viewed us as a means to an end to wedding day photos/video (which is okay too!). But each of you has woven into the tapestry that is The Greenes Photo and Films and we are truly thankful for each and every one of you. We are who we are because of you.

I’m not sure what the future holds. I’m almost certain we don’t have enough steam in us for another 500 weddings (don’t worry, we don’t see the end in sight yet!). But I do know we are forever grateful for the last 15 years and 500 weddings.
