Happy Wednesday, ya’ll! A quick little life update for everyone. Our personal lives are busier than ever. Will and I have spent the last month diving in deep with a volunteer opportunity that I didn’t see coming. It brings me so much joy and fulfillment, but has also been filled with lots of emotion and heartache that I didn’t see coming. I’m so thankful that it is our “slow season” so that we can give of ourselves during this time. But in reality, our slow seasons are also filled with taxes, bookkeeping, website updates, etc. January also happens to be our busiest month as far as booking weddings. So, we’ve still remained insanely busy. With all that being said, I’ve found that I haven’t blogged nearly as much as I had wanted to throughout the month of January. In an effort to make getting back into blogging a bit easier, you’re going to find that my future posts will be less wordy, and more filled with photos. Sometimes when I sit down to write about a wedding day, it’s hard. How can I put into words how amazing a wedding was in just a paragraph or two? It’s nearly impossible. And sometimes the burden feels large, even though the photos tell the story themselves. From here on out, I’m believing the photos will tell you the story better than I can.
So tonight, I’m going to let the photos from Caitlyn and Trace’s wedding speak for themselves. But I’ll leave you with the words that will always come to mind when I think of their big day - color, love, joy, happiness, people (lots of them!), and elegance.
