Guys, it’s already the middle of January! How did that happen? I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year. I don’t love the uncertainty of January weather, but it gives us beautiful sunsets. And every day that goes by brings us a day closer to my favorite time of year - spring/summer. But the older I get the more I’m learning not to wish my life away. To soak up every day as it comes. To find the beauty, even in these long sometimes miserably cold January days. I’ve spent the afternoon curled up with a good book, but my mind kept thinking “I should blog something today.” And I’ve decided to go completely rogue and share with you all one of our most recent wedding films… Katie and Jacob’s.

If you saw my post of their preview photos, you know that Will and I absolutely adored working with Katie and Jacob throughout their entire wedding process. I know I’ve been married for almost 12 years, but Katie and Jacob’s relationship and love for each other inspire me to love on Will a little better. They spent their entire day giggling and loving on each other. Once they were together, it was almost as if nothing else in the entire world mattered. Future brides and grooms, be like Katie and Jacob. Become so absorbed with each other on your wedding day that nothing else matters. Nothing but sharing your love for each other. Friends, I know I’m pushy on a first look, but it really helps make sure a good portion of the day is spent together… Laughing. Giggling. Cuddling. Soaking it all up.
