Happy Tuesday my people! We had a wedding on Sunday, so it feels much earlier in the week than it actually is. Between two weddings and 3 mini sessions this weekend, Will and I are swimming through 14000+ images and lots of video footage as well. But our calendar is pretty much wide open this week so we are making a huge dent in the “to-do” list.
Tonight, I’m thrilled to share with you all some of our favorite images from Lisa and Kris’s amazing wedding day on Saturday. Ya’ll, when I think of October weddings, THIS is what I think of. Lovely fall colors, cooler temperatures, simple timeless decorations, good food, and dancing in a barn. Lisa and Kris had been planning this perfect day for over a year now, and it went off without a hitch. These two chose to do a first look and we were able to do 99% of their photos before the ceremony. It really was a nice pace for the day and Will and I got to enjoy the little moments as well.
A few fun tidbits about the day…
The location for the wedding was chosen for sentimental purposes. The property belongs to Lisa’s grandmother and late grandfather. Lisa has so many fond memories and it simply made sense to honor those special times by spending one of her best days ever there as well.
We had TWO previous wedding couples and one of my previous co-workers at the wedding.
