Jacob + Dillon - Engagement Session - Tarboro NC Photographer

First and foremost, I have to know… who read the title of this blog post and immediately thought of Bob Dylan’s son? Anyone? Jakob Dylan of the Wallflowers? Maybe I’m showing my age.

Anyways, back to why we are all here! To see some of my favorite shots from Jacob and Dillon’s June engagement session. June, ya’ll… I’m starting to make my way into the territory of being all caught up. Okay, just kidding. I have at least 16 other posts that I should look into sharing before our busy fall wedding season. At least we are pretty quick with our editing. I just need to up my social media game!

Again, I’ll get back on track with Jacob and Dillon’s engagement session. I’ve known Jacob’s mama practically since I became a nurse. Will and I met Jacob once when he was a little kid when we did photos for his family. Will and I were both so excited when he reached out to ask us to shoot his 2022 wedding. What we didn’t realize until the day of the engagement session is that Will also has connections to Dillon and his family. Some of you may know that Will’s parents run a campground. Well it turns out that Dillon’s family were “regulars” for many years so Will has memories of Dillon as a kid as well. Small world!

Ya’ll, after spending a few hours with Jacob and Dillon, it’s so easy to see how perfect they are for each other. They keep a smile on each other’s face and they are so comfortable with each other. They are smart, funny, fashionable, kind, and photogenic. It’s easy to see that they are sure to be one of our favorite 2022 weddings! Enjoy some of our favorite shots from their engagement session.
