At Last. On Friday, Ashley and Eddie’s wedding guests were greeted with an “At Last” welcome sign as they arrived to the ceremony. Ya’ll, Ashley and Eddie originally planned to say “I Do” last November, but the universe had other plans. These two handled the situation with such grace and class as they planned their wedding for a second time. And ya’ll, I’d be lying if I said my heart didn’t break over and over again for all of our 2020 couples that were faced with those difficult decisions last year. But there is something extra sweet about seeing Ashley and Eddie get married at last.

Ashley and Eddie had such an incredible celebration on Friday. They have such amazing friends and family. The girls were so helpful and friendly throughout the entire day. The bridal suite bubbled with energy and excitement. The groomsmen were described to me three different times before I actually met them. From the coordinator, they were “fun.” From Ashley, they were “hyper.” And once Will had met them, he described them as “energetic, but on point once given instructions.” All three descriptions proved to be true. The wedding party truly was a fun, lively group. And like I told Ashley, with 53 weddings on our books this year, we NEED lots of energy and excitement!

Along with lots of celebration, there were so many sweet moments mixed in throughout the day. Ashley and Eddie’s first look didn’t include tears, but there was so much emotion nonetheless. It’s so evident that these two are madly in love and are making the most of each and every day together.

The icing on the cake to working with this amazing couple is that we had an awesome vendor team and we’d highly recommend each and every one of them to anyone planning a wedding.
