Rutu & Daniel - Merrimon-Wynne House Wedding Day Preview - Raleigh NC Photographer

Ya’ll, tonight’s post is definitely a special one for us. We thought we’d be celebrating Rutu and Daniel say “I Do” an entire year ago, but a global pandemic managed to put a screeching halt to their wedding day plans. But like they say, good things come to those who wait. Rutu and Dan had the most magical spring wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne, just outside of downtown Raleigh. We knew they had hired the best of the best for literally every aspect of their day, so Will and I had planned on having a good time, and let’s just say that all of our expectations were met and then some! Rutu and Dan planned a first look into their pre-ceremony time and we were able to knock out the majority of their posed photos before their ceremony on the lawn. Incorporating the first look gave us plenty of time for additional photos once Rutu and Dan revealed their second wedding day outfit! The evening finished up with dinner on the lawn, under sunny, blue skies followed by dancing the night away in the Carriage House. You guys, there are some couples that we know we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. And Rutu and Dan make that list. They are so kind, photogenic, warm, and welcoming. We can’t wait to edit their highlight film, but in the meantime, we hope you’ll enjoy some of our favorite shots from their wedding day!
