Grace & Taylor - The Carolina Barn at McCormick Farms Wedding Day Highlight Film
On November 16th, Will and I shot our last “video only” wedding of the year. Each year we look forward to the handful of weddings that we are contracted to capture just the video for. It’s such an amazing experience for us to experience the day through the eyes of video. When we are responsible for the photos and the video, or just the photos, there’s an added pressure to keep the timeline on track, to capture all of the family formals, to make decisions on the best spots to take photos, etc. When we are able to just film the day, we get the blessing of taking in the wedding day as it unfolds. We are able to simply soak up all of the happy moments, to experience the joy of the day without worrying what should happen next. It’s truly incredibly to experience a wedding this way. And then, we are able to take all of those amazing moments, review them, and put them together in such a way that tells the story exactly how we experienced it. What a blessing it is to have a career in the wedding industry!
We loved everything about Taylor and Grace’s big day. Okay, okay - let me be honest here. If we were in control of the weather we would have made it about 10 degrees warmer, the wind would have gone away, and we wouldn’t have spent all week leading up to the wedding wondering if it would rain or not. But beyond that, everything about the day truly was perfect! Grace and Taylor are both so sweet and had just the right amount of confidence to feel natural in front of the camera. They planned a beautiful ceremony and reception and made everyone feel so very welcome. They paid just enough attention to details to keep everything on track from a timeline perspective, but were also laid-back enough to enjoy the day in all of it’s glory. We hope this film will tell the story of their day better than I could ever describe! Enjoy!
