Those of you that have heard us talk about our October 2021 season know that it was one for the books! Seriously, we had eight October weddings and each and every one of them was PERFECTION. I thank God every single day that we are blessed with such amazing couples that help us bring our career dreams to life.

Happy Sunday! Can ya’ll believe it’s already the last Sunday of January? And yesterday we shot wedding number four of January. I still can’t believe we were blessed enough to capture not one, not two, not three, but FOUR amazing January weddings this year. Kimberlyn and Alex’s wedding was the perfect ending to the month.

I’m pretty sure every single vendor that was involved with Marisa and Braxton’s wedding day would agree that it was one of the highlights of the 2021 season. Seriously. Such. An. epic. Day. If you know Marisa and Braxton, I’m sure you could have guessed that they would have been simply stunning.

I’ll always remember how kind, laid-back, fun, joyful, and thoughtful Becky and Bryan are. They have amazing family and friends that brought so much life and energy to the celebration. It was obvious to see just how loved Becky and Bryan are.

Ya’ll, let’s talk about Saturday. Will and I had the incredible opportunity to celebrate with Sandy and Roberto as they marked an amazing milestone in their marriage… 30 years together. What better way to celebrate than to throw a party for their friends and family. Week after week, I get an outsider’s view of the beauty of weddings.

It’s only Tuesday, but we’re going to pretend it’s Thursday so we can fit in a throwback. Ya’ll, Mary and Josh’s wedding day was a highlight of our 2021 fall season. I could write for days about how beautiful everything was, how perfect the weather was, how loving and fun all of their guests were… But their first look was EVERYTHING.

“So nice, we did it twice.” I will always hear this line in my head when I think of Courtney and Zenik. Throughout 2020 and 2021 we had a handful of couples that we took part in not one, but two wedding celebrations - a smaller, more intimate 2020 celebration, followed by a bigger, more lively affair in 2021.

Happppppy Sunday, ya’ll! What a gross day here in eastern NC. But for this girl who loathes cold weather, I’m rejoicing in the fact that we didn’t have much by way of snow and ice to deal with today. I’m also refusing to acknowledge the fact that the Weather Channel is trying to tell me that we stand a decent chance of snow at the end of this week.
