Let’s talk about Saturday. It was a wedding day that we had been looking forward to for quite some time. Kaitlyn and Dylan are another couple that we didn’t get to meet when they first booked us during the height of the pandemic. But once we started working with Kaitlyn to iron out wedding day details, we knew it was going to be a fun time. When we finally met her in person at her bridal session, we knew without a doubt we were right. Meeting Dylan on Saturday was the final piece to the puzzle and it was instantly clear just how awesome these two are as a couple. Even though we literally spent most of the afternoon with rain clouds flirting with the area, Kaitlyn and Dylan remained upbeat and joyful to be spending the day together. They were surrounded by the best family and friends!

Ya’ll, if you’ve been a Will Greene Photo wedding client, you know that we will shamelessly dote on all of the positives of a first look. I like to think we are never pushy, but our couples NEED to know the benefits. I think Saturday was the PERFECT example of how a first look can make the day easier and less stressful. For Will and I personally, once Kaitlyn and Dylan saw each other and we were able to get about 10 minutes of photos of the two of them before the rain came, we breathed the biggest sigh of relief knowing anything else would just be icing on the cake. After the first look, they were able to spend the entire rest of the day together and share in the worries and game plan surrounding the rain (which thankfully mostly held out until after the ceremony). Ya’ll, there’s nothing better than the laid-back vibe couples have once they have seen each other and have knocked their photos out for the day!
